South Taranaki District Pedestrian Bridge - Another Council cost saving solution

Another bridge loaded and ready for its final destination, Otahi Stream, Opunake. This 15m long pedestrian bridge will provide great pedestrian and cycle access for the community. This is an example of another project where we have found cost effective solutions for our clients, to ensure it meets Councils budget. In this case, it meant changing the proposed bridge site location, which shortened the bridge span by 3 meters and removed the requirement extensive concrete block retaining. Ultimately reducing the cost of the project.
