A new 22m Steel Beam, Concrete Deck farm bridge has been installed just out of Otorohanga (Hangatiki).
Replacing an old steel beam, timber deck structure, the new bridge is now in line with council requirements.
The winter weather threw up some challenges, however they were overcome through the resilient site team.
The increased height of the bridge has led to some farm race realignments which had the subsequent benefit of improved machinery access over the river.
